Hello, hello, hello, Lovely Voices old and new!

It’s been 30 episodes already and I’m very excited to celebrate this little milestone with you all.

So first of all, a huge THANK YOU to every single one of you:

Thank you for listening.

Thank you for your lovely messages.

Thank you for having tuned in to the breath flows I shared throughout February in partnership with The Lodge.Space.

It’s been an “interesting” begining of the year to say the least. Ups and downs a plenty, some questioning and releasing… Despite it being the shortest month of the year, in so many aspects, it has felt like the longest one yet.

Was it the same for you?

The Road So Far

For this 30th episode, I thought I’d summarize the different topics we’ve covered since the launch in August 2020. And since there’s a few newbies listening in too (hello again!), and this little vocal adventure does not require for you to follow each episode like a series (except for the occasional multi-part series), I’m going to use this opportunity to reintroduce myself quickly:

Hello there! My name is Ségolène, I’m a frenchie based in London. And, my goal is to show you how to unearth your Voice and vocal power within. Be it in art, in work, or in life.

For the story, I fell in the Vocal realm at a young age when I started performing as an actress in France when I was 6, and the road I’ve taken has led me to explore and immerse myself in the wonderful realm of languages, linguistics, communication, breathwork, release and artistic expression and performance of course!

My love of the movement and postural domain, lead me to gather as much knowledge as I could about how the way our body functions, and how to fuel and connect to every part of our being. It quickly became a passion, a way of life.

The Artful Athlete, its philosophy and my practice as an artist and a coach, stands at the point where Art, Mindfulness and Expression meet.

This podcast has been one heck of an adventure so far, and I’m very excited to share with you all the mindful Voice tips but in my own way. Through a lens that perhaps you were not expecting.

I can guide you through the technical side of things, but this is more easily learned and practiced than that digging and exploring required to connect to who you are meant to be. To understand how to handle your own emotions and let yourself be heard.

This month I have a few surprises in store for you… And once you’ll have listened to this episode, you’ll know what to look out for!

Have a wonderful week, stay tuned, go outside, breathe

And I’ll speak to you soon!

Much love,

Ségolène xx
